My name is Ebrima Jeng, the founder of EJ Customized Shoes.
I’m a young Gambian artist & entrepreneur who is currently attending BSc in the University of the Gambia.
I started the shoe care business (EJ Customized Shoes) around early February 2020. I have a small workshop at home (Bakoteh Estate), where I do my designing, paintings etc by first getting the new shoes from the market or by collecting old shoes from customers to work on.
Later, resell them to customers and supply shops in the Gambia.
The business is about customizing and restore shoes with nice and good designs using various materials such as paints, fabric, leathers etc. I help and will continue to help provide good product and service to my community and beyond by fixing/restoring old shoes back to new.
